He furthered that as the Ramadan month is the holiest month in the Islamic calendar Muslims should be united to do and share things in common so that they will get the blessings of Allah.
He ended by thanking the congregation for giving the Commission the platform to help Muslims.
Alie Bangura is the Chief Imam for the Mosque. Receiving the food items on behalf of his congregation, he said the donation is timely and will help feed Muslims for a long period.
One of the congregation members, Foday Kamara, said the donation will help poor Muslims who have been wondering about what to eat while observing the Ramadan. He urged other good people to help Muslims during the Ramadan.
