They said this to test Him, in order to have a basis for accusing Him. But Jesus bent down and began to write on the ground with His finger.
When they continued to question Him, He straightened up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to cast a stone at her.” And again He bent down and wrote on the ground.
When they heard this, they began to go away one by one, beginning with the older ones, until only Jesus was left, with the woman standing there. Then Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are your accusers? Has no one condemned you?”
“No one, Lord,” she answered.
“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Now go and sin no more.”
The above Chapter, taken from the holy Bible, explains a story similar to, but certainly NOT the same as that of the Speaker of Sierra Leone’s Parliament, Hon. Abass Bundu.
The Chapter is merely used to capture the minds of some evil and unpatriotic ‘Sierra Leonean Pharisees’ who have found pleasure in attempting to degrade the hard earned reputation and integrity of a fine gentleman and patriot in the person of Honourable Dr. Abass Bundu using a video clip of him being naked in his own bedroom and restroom.
Let’s say for naïve argument’s sake, we agree that the clip truly features Dr. Abass Bundu, when has it become a crime for a man to walk naked in his own bed and restrooms? Who among these ‘Sierra Leonean Pharisees’ are not used to walking naked in their bed and restrooms?
Borrowing from the wise words in the Chapter above, “Let him who has not walked naked in his bed and restrooms among you (Sierra Leonean Pharisees) be the first to cast a stone at the honourable speaker”.
For all I know, the video clip that was believed to have been secretly filmed by a reckless lady went viral through social media, only shows the honourable walking from his bedroom into his restroom naked and nothing else. So what’s the indecency or crime he committed that people are now calling for his resignation?
People calling on the fine gentleman to resign his position as Speaker of Parliament sound funny and unpatriotic, many say it is a ploy by some dirty politicians who are not okay with the very democratic and professional manner in which the Speaker is running the affairs of Parliament.
Can we for once stop the whole nonsense for a minute and talk about the impact of this on the national political psyche? A Sierra Leonean asked; adding that Sierra Leone is much more important than any individual or political party.
Firstly, if it's the speaker of the house, his position becomes untenable because the position he holds is a position of respect. At the same time whoever is behind filming him and sharing it this way is a low life betrayer.
If someone allows you to video them in such a vulnerable and compromising situation they must have a lot of trust in you. I bet they must have done some good for you as well.
If people think they are embarrassing the speaker, they have shown their true colours and shaming their entire family and country as well.
Unfortunately for the unpatriotic Sierra Leoneans circulating the clips, since the ugly incident happened, millions of people have been seen throwing support and standing behind the speaker, calling on him to ignore all sorts of distraction and focus on doing the good works he has been doing in Parliament.
