JOB Leads President Bio to Segbwema

Sierra Leone People’s Party’s (SLPP) 2018 Flagbear Aspirant, John Oponjo Benjamin (JOB), who doubles as the party’s ex-National Chairman and Leader and the country’s former Finance Minister yesterday 23rd November, 2020 joined thousands of residents and descendants of Njaluahun and Njahn chiefdoms in the Kailahun district to welcome President Julius Maada Bio and his entourage to Segbwema.

JOB was part of the delegation to Kailahun district but later returned to Segbwema following the severe illness of the Paramount Chief of Dia chiefdom Festus Gaima and the 30th funeral anniversary of her younger sister.

JOB as he is popularly known joined the thousands of SLPP supporters and sympathises who were in a jubilant mood chanting his name as they accompany his convoy to the Segbwema town field.

Many spectators rushed at John Oponjo Benjamin with smiling faces as they shook his hands for accompanying the president and entourage to Kailahun district.

The two Paramount Chiefs of Njaluahun and Njahn chiefdoms Sheriff Coker Jajua and Foday Gboboto Musa appealed for health, education, roads and other basic amenities in the two chiefdoms.
