Wife of late Dr. Alhaji Ahmad Tejan Kabbah, Former President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Isatu Jabbie Kabbah, has pledged her fullest support to the agriculture sector and in support of the Everybody Must Farm (EMF) project in Sierra Leone by engaging in various farming activities (animal and crop production).
The able virtuous woman and wife of former president recently display her animal farm site in the north to members of EMF for public recognition.
In a brief meeting in early 2020, with the President of EMF, Prof. Sfano Njawa Sesay, Mrs. Kabbah assured the lead campaigner that she will bring out her investment potentials in agriculture by encouraging other women to act in similar manner.
Agriculture, I J Kabbah said, is the fastest and possible sector that has the possibilities to a speedy economic growth of a country. Adding that the able people will be engaged in self-job creation, crime rate will drastically decrease, political malpractices will decrease, the people will be rich and self-reliant, the tourism and trade sector will make speedy improvement among others.
Mrs. Kabbah encourages members of Everybody Must Farm to be relentless in their campaign in the midst of enormous challenges. Adding that their method is timely for the transformation exercise in Sierra Leone and in support of both the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the National Development Goals.
Mrs. Kabbah calls on Dr. Julius Maada Bio’s government to give an ultimate attention and support to the Everybody Must Farm project. Adding that the project idea is viable and effective for the people of Sierra Leone in s positive direction.
