A high power delegation from the Sierra Leone Football Association over the weekend visited the Fourah Bay College University to inspect the college’s sports facility ahead of a possible development partnership between the two institutions.
The SLFA entourage was led by Executive Committee Member Mr. Harold Natt-Johnson. Also parts of the team of experts were Mr. Christopher Kamara General Secretary, Mr. Sorie Ibrahim Sesay Head of Competitions, Mr. Ibrahim Kamara Head of Media and Marketing and Mr. John Kiester Acting Head Coach of the Sierra Leone National Senior Team (Leone Stars).
The Assistant Deputy Vice Chancellor 2 of the Fourah Bay College University Dr. Aisha Fofana Ibrahim expressed great delight in receiving senior representatives of the National Football Federation on the campus of FBC. It is such a pleasure to see senior members of the FA visiting us with a high sprit of willingness to work with our Sports Department to bring development in the Nation’s University Football.” Dr. Ibrahim Said.
After a brief meeting at the ADVC’s office, the University’s Director of Sports Francis Amara led the SLFA top officials to the University’s sports facility for a thorough technical inspection and to assess the possibility of upgrading its football pitch.
At the end of the inspection and assessment tour, the leader of the SLFA delegation- Mr. Harold Natt-Johnson noted that he was highly impressed with what he saw. Adding that, the football federation is looking forward to a partnership that will lead to the transformation of the currently abandoned match venue.
