As he weeps with the bereaved family of late Dr. Minkailu Bah, Hon. Mohamed Orman Bangura, Youth Affairs Minister, on behalf of the President Julius Maada Bio displayed another statesmanship in Magburaka, Tonkolili district as he expressed condolence to the bereaved family of late Dr. Minkailu Bah.

The Minister did this at Ferry road, Magburaka  where multitudes gathered to mourn the death of the late Minkailu Bah, former Minister of Education under the leadership of Ernest Bai Koroma, Mohamed Orman Bangura expressed his deepest condolence to the family and people of the district for the great loss of a Tonkolilian brother.

The Minister presented a purse of 5 Million Leones to the bereaved family on behalf of the President of Sierra Leone, BrgRtd Julius Maada Bio.

He admonished all mourners saying “leh we bear ya, na God gie we am enna e done take am” (we should take courage as the one who gave has taken).

Adding that “all we can do now is to pray for him for the Almighty to shower his endless mercies and forgiveness on him in the hereafter.”

Among the Stakeholders in attendance are; the District Council Chairperson, Hon. Hassan A. Sesay, the Tonkolili district Council Chief Administrator, Hon. Aaron ArunaKoroma, the regent chief of MayorssohMamunta Chiefdom Delvin A. Sankoh, the District Council Finance Officer, the DYC Secretary General, SaiduAlieLakoh and many others.

The Hon. Minister called on all to be united in Tonkolili district and show love to one another even amidst challenges as they battle with the deadly Covid-19 Pandemic.
