Bo Rangers’ forward, Suffian Kallokoh has left the shores of Sierra Leone for Sweden to undergo trials at Swedish top side AIK Solna. Kalokoh’s departure for Sweden comes after his remarkable performance in the just-concluded Under 20 West Africa Football Union tournament in Guinea. Suffian Kalokoh who was nurtured by Marampa Stars, a first division club in Makeni, north of Sierra Leone made his transfer to Old Edwardians, a premier league club. He netted more than 10 goals during the last premier league season for his side Old Edwardians and emerged third leading goal-scorer behind Musa Tombo Kamara and Abdul Baimba Sesay. He is currently with Bo Rangers on a season-long loan from Old Edwardians Football Club. Out of seven games, he has scored only two goals for his side Bo Rangers in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League. Speaking to AYV, Suffian Kalokoh spoke about his performance in the premier league so far and hazarded a guess as to his expectations of the Bo Rangers Football Club and its fans during his absence, citing that he expects much from them. According to football.sierraleone.dot.net, Striker Suffian Kalokoh will be on trial to Swedish top-tier club AIK Solna. This came after his outstanding performance at the U-20 WAFU tournament in Guinea where he scored 6 goals for Sierra Leone and was named highest goal scorer in the tournament. Suffian Kalokoh made his debut for Leone Stars against Lesotho in the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers in November. Meanwhile, the young sensational Suffian Kalokoh arrived on Wednesday 29th January, 2020 in Karlberg, Sweeden according to the club website. It further stated that, his trial will last for two weeks and five days starting from the 29th January to the 18th February, 2020. AIK football scouting manager Tobias Ackerman said they have been given the opportunity to look at Suffian in their operations for a little longer than normal and they think that it is good considering his age and that he has not been to Europe before. He continued saying that Suffian Kalokoh has qualities that interest them and has scored some goals in the Premier League in Sierra Leone. “It will be fun to get to know him better and exciting to see him in training,” Ackerman noted.
