Freetown, Tuesday January 28 2020 – The Management Team of Sierra Leone’s latest Hip Hop Music Star, Mohamed Manoh Sesay popularly called Larkson, would like to acknowledge the selfless roles of various stakeholders in supporting the dream of the talented young star.

Together, we all made history that deserves appreciation.

Our first salutation goes to the Almighty Allah, whose destiny and divine blessing was fulfilled and manifested on the night of Sunday January 26 2020, resulting in the crowning of Larkson as the Star Winner in the first edition of Sierra Leone’s Be A Star Television Music Competition. Allah is Great indeed and we give him all the glory.

Larkson’s victory was undoubtedly also the result of blessings from his parents and the entire Manoh/Sesay Family at home and abroad. This family demonstrated strength in unity by ensuring our amazing young star never lacked the required support. Larkson appreciates you all beyond words.

The platform and support provided by the organizers – Africell and AYV – is immeasurable. These two giant media and communication companies did not only expose Larkson’s talent to the world but equally provided an opportunity for him to meet and learn from the greatest music coaches in modern day Sierra Leone. We owe special thanks to Madam Mackie for spotting Larkson’s talent from the audition stage, Kadison for shaping the talent in Larkson and to all the other coaches and judges for the drills and comments that paid off.

Special thanks to Sulaimatu Enterprise for standing firmly behind Larskon through thick and thin since day one.

The diverse support of friends and fans immensely contributed to our victory as apart from the fact that our Larkson was leading the stage performances throughout, he needed all  the endorsements and votes to keep him in the competition and make him the ultimate winner. Evidently, the endorsements and votes were not in short supply; they came in grand style from all angles.

To his fellow contestants, we consider each and every one of them winners and their fierceness in the competition served to inspire our Larkson and brought out the best in him. The camaraderie built throughout the show will live on.

To the critics, team Larkson takes all your opinions and concerns in good faith and will effective process them to make him a better person.

Sierra Leone’s latest and most talented young star, Larkson, personally has this to say: “I am humbled and grateful. The love and support I received from Allah, my family, coaches, judges, friends and fans knocked me off my feet. My heart is still smiling. Your support is a gift I will always treasure. I am touched beyond words…thank you all.”

The team Larkson Management team will soon outline the next steps for the young star as and when plans are finalized.

Thank you for being part of this history to make Larkson the MUSIC STAR he is.
