Archie-Pearce dedicated his award to “all Sierra Leoneans who are working hard to put Mama Salone on the map” and said he felt ecstatic to receive an award of such importance and was overwhelmed by the turnout of Sierra Leoneans at the event.

“First of all I thanked God almighty for making it possible for me to win this award. It’s good when one’s effort is acknowledged and appreciated,” said Archie-Pearce, adding that Sierra Leone is gradually coming up and now on the map of the world of entertainments and creativity.

Before this, Archie-Pearce last year won the Sierra Leone Excellence Award for best movie premiere of his latest release “Ibu In Sierra Leone’; the ZAFAA award for his contribution towards the development of the African film industry and the Calabash Magazine award for Best Film Producer.
